This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal financial information received will only be used to process your payment. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.

Confidentiality Policy
As a proud member of the National Association of Professional Organizers, our company adheres strictly to the NAPO Code of Ethics:
This Code of Ethics is a set of principles to provide guidelines in our professional conduct with our clients, colleagues, and community.

  • We will keep confidential all client information, both business and personal, including that which may be revealed by other organizers.
  • We will use proprietary client information only with the client’s permission.
  • We will keep client information confidential and not use it to benefit myself or my firm, or reveal this information to others.

Payment Options
Methods of payment accepted are cash, check, Master Card, Visa, American Express. Please make all checks payable to Silk Touch Moves. Effective 11/1/2013, payment for service is due in advance of service. A credit card is maintained on file and billing options are discussed as part of client agreement. A 5% per month late fee will be assessed for late payment. A minimum charge of $35.00 dollars will be charged for returned/bounced checks in addition to any outstanding amounts.

Cancellation policy
We require a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice (holidays and weekends included). If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment please phone or email the office directly. Cancellation fees will be billed as follows:

Full fee will be billed on the day of service if the organizer is unable to gain access to the establishment or home. A charge of 50% of service will be charged if the 24 hour cancellation policy is not honored ($50 minimum). We understand that emergencies may arise, however, excessive cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to cessation of services. All sales are final.
